My understanding is that the old mesh was broken by patches a few months ago, which would make that mesh and this mod unusable in a fully-updated game of the Sims 4. Otherwise, is there some kind of workaround to get this mod to work still? Thanks for the update!
I should have tried the old mesh myself first: I was just going by the comments on the download page for the old one. Stoked to hear this is getting updated though! Really appreciate your work.

It appears under gloves, and when I equip it you can tell something is happening, but no nips. In CAS try see from "side" and you must see aleast that is my case.
